I really like the Trait updates! I was originally disappointed with how bland some of the wings had gotten with the revamp, but I feel much better about these more ...complex...? ones. ^_^ I still miss how sparkly/glittery/sugary? the old [Candy Wings?] looked, but these new versions are good. ^_^
And now that the Peacock Wings are smaller, I think that the Puffadores need a Peacock Tail Mutation, maybe with some little peacock feathers replacing the leg fur tufts. :3 Anyone else getting that feeling? :D

I have mixed feelings about the new Essence art... On the one hand, they are beautiful and more "essencey", but on the other, since they are no longer tiny images of the actual Sylesties and are so stylized, I do have trouble determining the species of some of them and get some of them mixed up... (I had the same problem with Sylesti Snow Building) What used to just take a glance in my Inventory now takes much more concentration. On the positive side, I can now differentiate really quickly between blue and purple (and presumably yellow) Essences. ^_^ I'm sure enough studying and practicing will help me with associating the correct species to the correct images more quickly, though.
Additionally, with these images showing up again, I am more worried that our Nytekries are about to lose half of their legs... And the things that come with that... ....But if that's how you want them, then I can make peace with it....

The only downside I can see to the new essences is that it'll be harder to skim the broker for a specific species. The designs are cool, though, and the Puff wings are super super pretty now ^.^

for multiple reasons. First of all, and most important, I'd like to thank you for listening to your userbase, Krin! You could easily have told us to deal with what we got and be happy - but you didn't. You listened to us, heard us, and cared. Thank you for that. I truly appreciate it.

Second of all, the updates made me squeal with happiness. They look fantastic! Just... <33

While a few of my projects did end up a little less pretty with the changes... (Some of the genes I picked now look obnoxious since the body is no longer covered up by the wings and the hodgepodge of traits is exposed o_O) overall, they do look much better without the bulky wings. Not to mention... this project now looks even more gorgeous so that's a major win and I'll take it! The now-revealed vines happen to have really good placement with the wings <3




I just wish we had a few more options for 'subtle' gene changes like Bernese, Siamese, and Delicate Runes. Tying together the busier genes that cover everything on top of everything can get a little messy ._.;



The new essences look fantastic! Although I will also agree with some of the other posts that it will be a little harder to tell them apart when the icons are small. It will take some time to get used to it but after distinguishing the small details over the next few months it should get easier. :3
