The mid morning sun seeped through the window of the room. It was pleasant, welcomed even. Yawning the boy turned over pulling the covers closer to his body. Wait a minute...in an explosion of covers Hal jumped up. Dang it! He was late! Throwing his cloths on he rushed out the door, still trying to get the belt about his middle. Today he wore a light blue tunic with brown trousers. His shoes were still under his arm for the moment spas he raced down the street. Upon reaching the gate he doubled over, out of breath. The others were here already. "S-sorry...I'm...late...." Hal panted before standing up straight and fixing his hair again.

I smile down at the newcomer.
"No worries!" I say, pleased to finally have everyone with us.
"I'm Aerik, and this is Ashe." I say, pointing down at my deer. He pointedly ignores the newcomer, but I tap him with my heel, and he finally lowers his head, and greets the newcomer with a snort of warm air into their mussed up hair.
"Sorry about him, he's a snoot." I say, dismounting Ashe with a light slap on the rump, and proferring my hand.

Arya, still surprised by the very sudden- and late -entrance, looked up. The elf watched the boy silently as she wiped her throwing stars clean.

"Oh um..." Hal said taking a step back from the animal. "Hello." Honestly he didn't like large animals, and now he seemed to be surrounded by them. Great, not only was he the only one without a mount but he was surrounded by one of his fears. Wringing his hands together he continued to step back until he was behind everyone,ma safe distance away from the animals.

Not taking note of this, Tarot dragged Lummie over to Hal, and set her down like a dog wanting to play fetch
