For those who are not happy with the new color scheme, Fai and I have already been thinking of making multiple themes and allowing users to choose which one they want to use.

While we have grander plans for the whole Site, this specific feature would be for the Forums only. Because of that though, we'd be able to get it done much faster.

So I guess you can look forward to that with the Part 2 release.


If there is something you don't like other than the colors, please let us know so we can hear your feedback.

I would prefer if this was more blue, to fit the blue theme, but it still is cool! The forums lighting up instead of all of the pings showing up in your inbox, yes. and there is finally a STRIKE button! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT! The white kinda hurts my eyes...

EDIT: just saw the last post, and colors for everyone? YUS!

hmm, I like the new pings much easier then @username, now its at the top of the post instead, although, I did like the nice blue background instead of the white one but overall very good changes.

But why I had 3 pings to this Thread, when I clicked it, it was a ping from Faiona twice, then another ping for another Thread?
Some kind of bug I shall guess? :o

I am having the same problem with the ping system, I don't know how to post screen shots so I cannot show you, but my counter says I have three pings, when I get onto forum all three are from the same person until I click one, then it changes to the next ping (two form the same person *different to the first*) and then the last ping.

Otherwise I really like this new system.

I'm trying to understand exactly what's happening.

So, if you get 3 pings, the thing at the top loads 3 pings but it's only the first ping loaded 3 times? Then when you click on it, it goes down to 2 pings but now it's the second ping loaded 2 times? And then after clicking on that, finally, the third ping loads?

Or is that wrong.
