Personality: She is pretty excitable, and wants to learn as much as she can as fast as she can. She is mature for her age (somewhat) and very responsible. She very very seldom lies and always keeps her promises.
Backstory: She was raised mostly by her mother, who is a potter in a small town, but she really looks up to her father, who is a very powerful and famous Enchanter. He loves her mother, and though they are not married they are very committed, he's just very busy and doesn't want to put her in danger. She had a younger brother. She came to this school to become as powerful as her father someday.
Likes: Sweets, loose flowy dresses, dragons, books, lots and lots of books and learning
Dislikes: Disruptive students, being told she's too young to do or know something, people talking bad about her family, coffee
Fears: That she will be left out, enclosed places

Your professor opened the door. "Come in everyone, I am Professor Selene. Take a seat in your respective sections, *gesturing* Violin there, viola there, flute there..." She points at the harp section. "Harps there."

She kept a soft smile on her face and dipped her head as she passed, "Hello Sir" she said, barely loud enough to hear. She then headed over to the harps and looked for her own, before sitting in her respective seat. She drew her fingers delicately along the strings, but didn't pluck them so not to make any noise. She then quickly blushed and put her hands in her lap, not looking up, not wanting to be a disturbance.

The bell for your next class rang. Checking your schedule, saw that your next class was Foreign Language.

Aerilyn pack up her things in a sensible cross body leather satchel, and thanks her professor on the way out. She is very excited for her language class because she heard Latin was a very magical language and that it would help her to become good at magic, like her father. She also heard that lots of old books where written in Latin and the older the book the better it must be, right? She had to stop herself from nearly skipping on the way there, but was able to control herself.

When class is over, or they have some time to talk Aerilyn introduces herself to the people she is sitting next to and asks them what their favorite part of the school is so far, "I just can't wait until we get to do research on things we are interested in specifically. I hear research can be a lot of fun!"

The other kids don't look as enthusiastic, but they listen. "I can't wait until the end of the day," says a random boy. "They'll give us a tour of the campus." "I hear you can request for your friend to be your roommate," says someone else.
