Hawkpaw entered the apprentice's den, heading for his nest. Ashpaw's nest was right in the middle, surrounded by the other toms. For some reason, they were head over heels for her. She probably liked the attention too. With a small grunt, the brown tabby tom curled up in his moss nest and fell asleep.

Oakclaw~ Come on ash im going to take you on a hunting patrol
*she smiled with excitement*
"Ok! *she ran out of camp*
Oakclaw~Wait ash! *he smells something ahead of her and runs after her*
*Thinking it was a game she kept on running then she heard growling behind her and she turned around to see a badger and she started running towards a rock with a ledge to hide under*
"Oakclaw help!" *The badger was digging at the ground to get to her then Oakclaw came behind it and started fighting it trying to get it away from me he runs off with the badger chasing him*
Oakclaw~ "Stay there ill come back!" *As he disappears into the deep woods toward the mountains and that was the last time I saw him*
~She wakes up from the dream~
"I have a feeling he didnt die... I didnt see him die...." *She'd say to herself cautious of finding the truth she steps out of the camp and starts going to the border*

*She'd cross the border leading to the mountains and she stayed on the trail leading to the mountains but she keeps second guessing herself to bring hawkpaw with her to help her*
"I can do this... i can do this..."
*She smelled a fox nearby so she hid in a tree waiting for it to go away but she started getting tired and she fell asleep on a branch*

In the morning, when Hawkpaw woke up, he noticed a big stir around the camp. The words "Ashpaw" and "missing" were circulating like wildfire. The apprentice narrowed his eyes and snuck out of camp. Where had she gone?

Hawkpaw tracked her footprints and scent, circling the tree where she had spent the night. "Stupid, stupid, Ashpaw, " he muttered. "Why did you have to do this?"

"Ok I had enough..." *she stands up and and jumps on the foxes back attacking its hind leg and making it yelp*
"All I want is m-"

Hawkpaw heard the yips and barks of a fox. He rushed to the area, only to find Ashpaw unconscious and laying helpless. He hesitated for a moment before sprinting towards the predator. He latched onto its side, trying to stay out of its reach.
