Just to make sure - two different people playing from their own computers in the same household will be recognized as such? My friend finally caved in *eg* but I don't want to risk getting banned ...

why some people don't even skim the terms of service is beyond me, especially if said rule is right near or at the top *sigh*

Yes lol. That is fine.
Like I said, if you are only using 1 account, you're perfectly fine.
If you are using more than 1 account, this is your warning stop.
If you occassionally log into a friend's or family's account to feed their pets, you also should have nothing to worry about unless there's something suspicious between the accounts that makes us believe they are the same user.

I know you've posted lots of times already, but I just wanted to answer too. My sister and I share an internet connection and computer sometimes. That connection changes, depending on whether we're at school or not, and we both log into our account. (she does a lot more than I do ><) Hopefully that doesn't count against us, since we do play very separately. She just scans my hatchlings for me occasionally. ^^

My friend, COCOCAKE21, played for a few days, and i pushed her to start again later, but she never played again, thats why a few times our accounts fell on the same IP. Makara is my bros account. He thought Sylestia was dumb and quit. I am currently one of the only people in my household with a computer, so he used mine. *scared krin was gonna mutilate her account if she didnt explain ;>.>*

Does this count for people who share IP addresses? As I know a few people who live in the same house and also share computers and IP addresses

Yah that is a good question my sister Marbleboy and I both use the same computer.

While having the same IP Address is something we look at, it's only a fraction of what we look into. So just simply sharing an IP Address will not cause you to be banned.
