A little spooked by the whole situation, I crack the door of my room open just enough to see what's outside.

The arrow hit the monster straight in the chest but it kept walking towards you. You heard what sounded like a motorcycle behind you, as a small molotov cocktail flew over your head. The monster was lit on fire and began shrinking. By the time the fire had gone out the monster looked like nothing more than the skin left by a snake that recently shed.

(Just in case you don't know, a molotov cocktail is basically just a glass bottle filled with either flammable substance or some form of a fuse.)

As you did so you saw your neighbor rush towards you. She began begging you to come out as she rigged on the door, trying to open it, "My dog was laying on the floor dead but I'm too scared to go back into my apartment alone!" she had tears streaming down her face and a small trickle of blood leaking from her ear as she practically began grovelling outside your door. Her fingers had slipped into the door and her long, sharp nails had left small scratches in the wood from when she had tried to pull it open. The only thing keeping her from getting in was the small chain that you had left latched.

Soren turned around to see who had thrownit.

When you say long nails, I take it you mean like claws? If I see that she has claws, I close the door on her. If she just has the normal kind of long nails, can I see anything else strange in the hallway?

Behind you was a truck that had been driving by, a group had pulled over. A guy with black spiky hair was standing up in the tailgate of the car holding a Barret M95 that was strapped onto his body in one hand and a molotov cocktail in another. There were what looked like 3 other people in the car, 1 girl and 2 other guys. The guy with spiky black hair hopped over the side of the car and started walking towards you, he was followed by the girl, she had light brown hair that almost became blonde at the tips. The other 2 opened their car doors and waited outside it but they didn't leave the trucks side.

Soren held his bow at the ready but didn't attack. Yet.

The girl put her hands up to show her surrender as well as show that she held no weapon's, the boy did the same. He slid the sniper rifle he had strapped to the front of him onto his back to make it harder for him to reach.
The girl spoke first, "I'm Alex, this is Kai. We don't mean any harm we are only curious as to how someone so young got stuck alone in this situation. We're you sent out to gather supplies for others because your still young and energetic... or are you simply alone?" Alex asked.

Soren relaxed his hold on the bow. "I'm Soren... And I'm alone."
