also, can a Ryori be obtained in the newbie generator? I'm asking because it is a great pet for the color scheme I'm thinking of for my second account if I'm able to make it

Nope, it's what is called a fabled species. Only general species can be made for a starter pet. Ryori can however be made if you find or buy an essence for one.

It all depends on how busy they are. Normally only a day or so though.

You won't be able to get a second account- Amarok is the sole exception because those two extra accounts were strictly and specifically so they could write up the walkthrough.
They only used the accounts for the purpose of making the walkthrough (since they had already hit the end of the plot), with one account to go through one set of options and the other account to go with the other set for the sake of completeness. The accounts are unlikely to ever be used again.
All differences are minor (just different text) with the sole exception that at one point your choice can result in you getting one of the NPC's (Sheriff Thyrm) Killed Off For Real, at which point his Deputy takes over for anything he yet had to do in the plot* (the only difference it makes in the end is which of the two NPCs gives out missions in the Esior Barracks*). If you want to know the text differences, Amarok probably has them in the walkthrough

If you tell him, it's something like:
Jinxie: Username, how could you?
Evil person: Mwahaha go find the queen, someone! Thunder and Bolt, kill them!

Later, the queen says something like, "I hope you can regain our trust later"
Obviously, the dialogue is not exact. According to my sister, (who doesn't play much anymore), if you do not tell him, you just charge into battle and the queen does not say something about regaining trust afterwards.
