i am glad it is not just me having issues with capturing wild Sylesti, after the main capture of the sleeping sylesti. But this game is in beta so issues will happen. just a shame so many good looking sylesti get fainted before capture :(

I have caught the sleeping sylesti, and I caught a sylesti' regularly with a trap net, it says I completed the quest. However, I am stuck in a part of the game and I keep fainting, so I need more party slots. But every time I go to the huntsman person, they tell me I need to complete the 'capturing a sylesti' quest from the billboard; which I've already completed! I really need a reply soon or I might become frustrated and just breakdown and probably not play anymore! I don't want that to happen considering this is a really cool game!
Please reply soon!

Make sure you open the bag you received in your Inventory for completing the quest.

So, you lower their health, but don't knock them out, and the lower their health the higher chance of you capturing it?
Cool! It's just like Pokemon! ^_^

essentially yeah
but the difference between pokemon and this game (sylestia) is that there's a fleeing mechanic.
basically, all pets have a random chance of fleeing (unlike pokemon, unless you're against a legendary). Most users get really sad when they see pets they really want, throw a trap (or 5), then they flee aha.
not just that, but the rate of how much easier it is to catch a pet with decreased health is really minimal.
i found it negligible to get their health down to 1%, and they'd still take 3-10 traps, and there's still the chance they flee. (when they flee, it's the worst aha, many players can probably attest to it)
anyways, just a pro tip, you should throw your traps at any pet you wanna capture at the first turn. it hardly makes a difference whether you damage them or not (it's a really small difference). I've gotten more captures or flees based on the 1st turn when I didn't even hurt them, and it's better than dragging along a battle aha.
