Welcome! One question: how does the teleportation work exactly? Is their a limit to the amount of space he can travel?

Yep. So like he can use it but it's very unpredictable. Newthatesit. Hes ended up in the weirdest places and has little say over were he wants to go I hes noa t fill health or distracted or something. He cna also only use it int he shadows, sunlit field with no trees is a nogo.
Newt can only read the minds of people hes looking at. And it isn't always accurate. Yet anyway

Flight. Duh. Also he can make his wings intangible and invisible at will but that doesn't mean they're not there and he can feel it if you stick your arm through them, which is very uncomfortable so he prefers to keep them solid and visible.
Flaw 1
Hollow bones break easily. And you can drag him around or carry him without as much trouble as with a normal human, so kidnapping him is probably a lot easier, and he finds it difficult to carry heavy things/people because he's so light. And it's difficult to sit in desks :D
Power 2
Very agile and good at dodging things, especially in the air unless he's hurt or impeded (irl kites are natural acrobats), although I'm not sure how helpful that is.
Flaw 2
Has a tendency to not look where he's going when he's doing this and often ends up smashing into things or possibly knocking himself out xD. So if you wanna fight him, fight him in an enclosed space with a low ceiling. Leah will find that out when she tries to murder him.
Backstory
I suck at coming up with backstories. *insert not very interesting backstory here*
Likes to tease people a lot and is generally annoying but in an endearing way - you'll want to be rid of him when he's around, but you'll miss him when he's gone. He doesn't have much respect for authority and is very rebellious unless they can actually hurt him. He can make friends all over the place but is only truly loyal to the few people close to him, in fact, he cares far more about other people than himself, and everyone who knows him will know that well. He is reckless and often does things without thinking, and if he wants to do something, almost nothing can stop him, for better or worse. It is difficult to read him unless you know him well, but he does have a short temper. His mind is constantly in all different places at once and he tends to have trouble paying attention.
Phoenix is his best friend.
He wears jeans all the time and a black or gray jacket over a white shirt. Dresses in plain colors. His wings are feathered, solid, dark gray and black nearer to his body but fade to white farther out. Black hair and grey-blue eyes.

Backstory
Cunning and ruthless, she appears so sweet, charismatic, and innocent on the outside, she can get away with anything and has everyone, especially teachers, wrapped around her little finger. No one would suspect her of doing anything wrong. However, she is much different on the inside. Her entire family has a deep hatred for the halfies and she is no different, believing they are filthy and shouldn't exist, and that she is doing the right thing by getting rid of them. If possible, she'll want to cause as much pain to her victims before killing them or giving them to her boss. She is highly skilled in combat and is a very successful assassin because no one ever suspects her of doing anything wrong. She will lure you in with a smile and stab you in the heart, and no one will ever believe she did it.
She usually wears something delicate and innocent like a dress, with frills and folds to hide her weapons. Pale, delicate, see-through wings. White-blond hair and pretty green eyes. She cannot do much than hover and move a bit with her wings and cannot fly in strong winds.

She can set parts of her or her entire body on fire, skin is warm to the touch. Has some control over other fire. Fire invulnerability and very high heat resistance.
Flaw 2
Cannot throw fire, setting herself on or controlling fire drains her as if her energy is the fuel. The cold, especially water, makes her weak or possibly make her pass out, so she must wear more warm clothing than other people when it is cold outside. Warm/hot water is fine, lukewarm is unpleasant, and cold water can kill her.
Backstory
Phoenix is highly introverted and suspicious of people she has just met, but is very devoted to her close friends and will do just about anything for them. She will either become your good friend, or not at all. She tries to fit in and not be noticed, but hates being left out of anything she wants to be part of. She is rather pessimistic and sometimes acts depressed, especially if she feels lonely or sad. She tends to lose her temper and say things she might regret if someone insults her or her friends, and holds grudges. Phoenix also loves to explore, but is very cautious and will usually back out of anything where she might get hurt, physically or emotionally. The only exception to this is if her intuition believes it to be the right thing to do, or if she has a passion for what she is doing. Normally, she finds it comfortable to plan ahead and take things one step at a time, and not do anything until she is sure of the consequences. Phoenix can be sarcastic and headstrong if she wishes. She is also quick-witted and street smart, but often people do not realize this unless they know her well, as she is rather secretive and shy to people she is not close to. But around the people she is comfortable with, she is sweet, smart, and extremely funny.
Jay is her best friend.
She has long black hair with one blue and one silver streak and silver eyes. Her wings are feathered, reddish orange with white tips, for flying rather than hovering. She wears knee length jeans, a t-shirt and cardigan, a red scarf, and blue hi-tops.

Backstory
He finds no reason to blend in with the other students and does not attend classes. Instead, he forms an alliance with another hunter and does his work mostly at night. He is lithe and knows the extent of his powers. He is wily and calculative and is a hired assassin, he does not have an opinion of the halfies and is just in it for the reward. He is a bad person to upset, his words are like poison and he will carefully plan your demise with a smile on his face. He is practifally a nocturnal creature and spends most of his time in the shadows, and seems to disappear if you spot him. His magic combined with his skilled archery is deadly, and he often uses his magic to turn his victims' powers against them. He is a hard worker and will not stop until he gets what he wants.
He has light brown hair and green eyes. He wears comfortable all black clothes that are easy to move around in.

This drains her, the worse the injury the more tired she gets, too much in rapid succession can kill her.
Backstory
Akira is cheerful and optimistic, while not as talkative as Akio she is still friendly and open-minded. She loves animals and hates doing harm to anything, whether on purpose or not. She has a few very close friends that she knows well and would do anything for them. She is very empathetic and is good at calming people down, and she doesn't hold grudges.
Akio is more serious than Akira, but once he gets talking, it's hard for him to stop. He is charismatic and funny, and people generally like him. However, he has a shorter temper than Akira and while he doesn't really care what others say to him, if someone hurts his friends or Akira, he will not stop until he makes them pay, as he is more inclined to get revenge rather than forgive and forget like Akira.
Both have chestnut brown hair and green eyes, Akira's hair is a little longer than shoulder length while Akio's is long-ish and messy. Akira has white feathered wings they are not very strong so she cannot fly more than a few yards and finds it difficult to maneuver or gain altitude. Akio usually wears a plain t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a tool belt. Akira wears a white shirt, black cardigan, and long jeans.

Preferred secret base: He has a sort of...home, built into a tree near the halfie school. It's so well hidden you couldn't even find it if you climbed up in the tree. The tree is a giant oak tree.
Backstory: he was literally born to kill the halfies Erisuna and Asuna. Their mother wanted them dead, so his parents promised her a super killer that could get the job done. Ever since then, he's been hiding until the day the halfie school opened, waiting for his moment. He attends the school as a student, pretending to be half human Because he has a human form.

Backstory + appearance:
Ciel was being raised by his angel mother before coming to this school. He and his father aren't on very good terms at the moment, but that doesn't mean Ciel doesn't love him. Also, his lineage is a very torn one. His very existence defies angel and demon laws, and when he dies he can neither go to heaven or hell. The argument is still going on to this day, and he is a very large target.
Ciel is calm and collected, it's rare to see him loose his temper or composure, but that doesn't mean he won't let you know that he isn't happy with you. He will not allow himself to be belittled or silenced by others at all. He has no tolerance for it, partially because he has had no say in anything all his life. Ciel can be humorous, but typically it's subtle little remarks or comments. He can be a flirt if he wants, and others entertain him a lot, he enjoys making people flustered.

Solstice was just raised to hate halfties, and she's never questioned it. It was her parent's opinion so she took after it, because they fed her huge lies about how they're "abominations" in this world. She was trained to hunt them down, and now she just wants her parents to be happy with her. She has no personal grudge against them whatsoever, and she's tired of her parents being disappointed in her. She's a highly trained assassin of sorts, she knows how to kill.
Solstice is rowdy and reckless, but that doesn't mean she doesn't take precautions against others. She has horrible OCD, and she constantly wears layers upon layers of clothes, as well as the gas mask on her face. It even unnerves her to breath the same air as anyone else. She doesn't really like people or socializing that much either. It's just easier to be the weird girl with the mask than the person she really is. She considers herself weak and has a lot of self hatred, partially from her parents mental and emotional abuse.
