Ruby snapped back into realty and started scanning the room for anyone who could have seen her.

Rieka stood up. She giggled a bit then shifted into a wolf and tackled Ruby. Oh good good! You are back! Hi there. I am Rieka. she whispered.

Leah looked around with a curious smile on her face, but inside she was disgusted. A school for these 'halfies'? They didn't even deserve to live, let alone have education. Who knew what they might do if they got knowledge into those tiny, twisted minds of theirs? She sighed inwardly. At least there were easy pickings here. Half-breeds all around. She mentally calculated how much she would be paid for each one and licked her lips in anticipation, her right hand going to the hilt of her carefully concealed scimitar at her waist, the left to the knife hidden in the folds of her skirt. This was too easy. She could already imagine walking out triumphantly, her pockets weighed down by coin. Don't get ahead of yourself, Leah, she scolded herself mentally. First things first. Pick your first victim.

Jay stood around awkwardly. He didn't know anyone here. Everyone was already talking to someone else. Or themselves. He surveyed everyone around him. This would be interesting. Better not be a loner at your first ever school. What was the point of school again? That person was a statue. Now she wasn't. Woah. Oh look, that wall was really interesting. Jay shook himself. He needed to focus.

The twins (as NIcote) were mentally arguing with themselves before finally Newt got out on top and wlaked over to Jay. "hi i'm Newt.' he saaid with a forced grin, from the staain of kepeign his other half quiet.

(walks into random person) (nanis not in officially yet so...you'll get the bookie XP)

"Hi," said Jay, wondering if he was supposed to shake hands or not. He stuck out his left hand, dropped it, and stuck it out again. "I'm, er, Jay. Also, uh, your arm is kinda in my wing."

"U-oh. Yeah. Sorry 'bout that." newt quickly moved a bit. 'So...uh...What kind of halfie are you?"

Jay was still awkwardly holding out his hand. "Uh, Aviarian-human. Black kite model." His wings faded into existence. "Ugh I don't even know why I bothered to make them intangible."

Newt (well more like Nicote's nagging) finally shook the hand. "I'm a split light/dark elf. Unfortunate-"

Nicote appeared, now not touchng Jay's hand. "I'm Nicote. The other half. "

Newt reappeared, canceling out Nicote. "Uh..sorry...heh..." Interanly they were waging battle.

Jay blinked awkwardly. "I like apples."

"Same. I also like pineapples but I'm not supsoesed to eat too many since Nic's allergic.'
