I'm late for this but hi
Yo I've been getting into a book series called Artemis Fowl.
I like sci-fi action mystery type things so its right up my ally.
I remember being a huge warriors fan but the fandom got toxic so I stopped reading the books. I also remember making 5 clans worth of characters.
Also I totally recommend reading Lord Of The Flies.
A plane crashes on an island and now a bunch of maniacal kids have to survive. Theres this guy named Simon and he is the best character in the entire thing.

"late" you say, it's never too late for books!
it's been a while since I read any of those books but I remember AF being really good. LotF was a traumatising freshman year experience I'm still not over xD

Nice thing that happened at my local library.
Yo so no one's posting so I'm gonna post. I was at the library a while ago and I was wearing camp merch (they sell tee shirts at camp) and this person walks up to me and I look up. It's my counselor from camp. And I'm like "Omg hi!" and they're like "Spirit, hi!" So we talk for a bit and apparently they visit the library often. It made my day and looking back on it, I wish I talked more. So that was really nice and it made my day.
So I have a lot of crazy stories about camp and we were mostly talking about how our dorm went feral by smashing a watermelon and chanting 'arson'.

My camp(s) are honostly just one week each of craziness with crazier people.
Oh and one of our teachers decided ot take all the high-level music students for a roundtrip to a garden across campus during her teaching time. That was fun.
I swear i saw one of my TAs from camp (music daycamp) in the mall once.
Ok i'm off topic. Bye.

(Dude I think we need a pinglist, unless I'm blind)
- The Mysterious Benedict Society (Hmm maybe it's for younger kids but I like it anyways) by Trenton Lee Stewart
- Warcross/Wildcard by Marie Lu
- Delirium by I forgot who (although I'm not so much into romance)
- Mmm I forgot what it was called but it involved death and destruction, so that was fun.
- Hello Universe was really sad for some reason but it isn't
- Oh, the Swordbird series is the absolute best thing ever
Also, the library at my school sucks, all they have are, like, Calculus textbooks and stuffs.
I volunteerered for this thing that involved cleaning books with suspicious chemicals for hours until my hands died and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. But hey it'll look good on my resume and besides, all I ever wear are T-shirts, jeans, and occasionally hoodies, but I digress...
My bookshelf collapsed and almost killed me.
Spirit, please elaborate on that story involving watermelons and arson?

Yo that sounds like the camp I go to except its two weeks.
There's this thing that the counselors do called slippery sumo which sounds really bad until you explain it. Basically they coat a tarp in whipped cream and sumo wrestle until someone falls off. We make bets by betting our candy, I lost two aero bars that way.
This year in session 3 (theres 4 sessions) I took this program called Quest and its basically a bunch of different art forms combined with larping, and in this final battle type thing, I fired metal arrows at people and my friend summoned a storm by praying to their water dragon. I also filled 200 european dolls with gunpowder and lit them on fire before chucking them over a wall. It was a whack session.
This was also off topic

@Spirit I wish I had a place like that xD(to be silly and such) I'm legit basically confined to my house and chickens (yeah fyi if you didn't know I have no friends. Like zero. I swear to you), I get out like, maybe twice a month for grocery runs (I'm not a hermit by choice ofc, just circumstance, my mother is considering sending me somewhere for the summer next year though so that should be fun!)
@Naw Ye I've read Warcross! I recommend Illusive by Emily Llyod-Jones. My bookshelf looks like its always about to kill me (aka: its a stack of milkcrates zip-tied together and stuff in the smallest corner of my room.)
