Her red and black adorned clothing melted and twists into hard scales..skin reformed into skeletal bones.. And her staff broke into a million pieces as she tried to summon a creature to save her. Two of the beautiful adornments of the staff shot into her eyes, while the rest of it reshaped and twisted to combine with the four silvery skulls that now surround her new, changed form, a part of her as much as her new, slitted purplish-blue eyes.

I like how the red and black seam to be close to copying the character used as inspiration. I also like how the purple from the stalf wasn't used in the design it makes it look like the pet is more inclined to follow the character without being 100% the same.
