I've seen many players find eggs there. Sadly I can't defeat Nightfall Captains ;-; Any idea how to? I just need to defeat a few more to move on to the 2nd stage of TLG.

When I first started exploring the Grove, I had a lot of trouble with those guys, too (and the Ancient Ents). *Nods* So far, Ive learned four things that are helpful:
. Pet level in the higher (60 to 70) range. All of the pets I use are Level 60 to the current max, 70.
. Using a Shadow Tank/Air Cannon/Light Healer arrangement, rather than my usual one of Shadow Tank/Fire Cannon/Light Healer (Im using the latter ATM, though, because I want to get my backup Fire Cannon pet to the same level as the other four I use.).

. Distribution of proficiency points more or less identical to the recommendations here, assuming your party is set up the same way as one of the examples the guide writer provided:

. Replacing the equipment on the pets I have in my main party with the stuff I get by defeating enemies in the Grove. I have a ton of extras of most of it if youd like me to send you some.

Dont worry about looking over the second one just yet, as thats mainly about the newest addition to the Grove, the Forgotten Caverns. I havent even gotten to that part yet, but I thought it would be a good future reference for whenever I do.

Thanks! I'll check them out once in a while. I don't think you need to send me any equipment because I player in the LG chat helped me; a lot. I've been seeing some players saying that I should block, but I didn't go back to fight them ever since I couldn't defeat them even using the Aryth's Spire potions. One time I was lucky defeating them, though.

Among other things, it explains what order to attack the Bandits in if theres more than one & theyre all different types.

Yeah, in terms of strategy when actually facing the Captains, blocking right after they use the Vanish move is the easiest one to make use of. What I will add is you should do that two to three times, depending on how much damage your pet(s) is(are) getting, and if at some point, that enemy uses its Bind Wounds ability in addition to the Vanish one.

What counts as a found egg? Eggs found as loot from dungeons, from the Peddler, as abandoned nests in Astryl's Vale or abandoned eggos? I'll count all of those... okay I've got a couple. Also most of the eggs on this post I found today.
