Hey! We just got done with our first actual digital piece xD

I was wondering if you have any criticism? What do you think? Idk I can't use layers--like at all x'D They're atrocious.

Hey, glad to see you're branching into digital.^^

I'm not someone who likes to use layers much myself (more often than not I end up combining them all together at the end anyways) but what I like to do is keep the 'body' and the background on two layers and work off that.
A lot of people like to make a sketch layer to plan out a drawing before moving onto a lineart layer to draw the final work, but I'm someone who likes to sketch and work the sketch itself into the final work (which is needlessly annoying and I don't recommend, lol)
My suggestion is just to play around with what works for you. What are you using to draw digitally (program and tool wise?)

Thanks for the well wishes btw, I'm doing alright myself, just trying to be there for everyone else in my life right now taking it much harder.

https://m.imgur.com/XDPd9l0?r Thats actually kind of what I did xD I just went over the sketch with a rough color and then shaded it accordingly. I'm using Krita, it doesn't seem very popular but I can't use IbisPaint bc/ dont have a mobile. https://m.imgur.com/HZAtP2y

I'm familiar with Krita, but not enough to give any real advice with it (are you drawing with a mouse?)
I use Medibang Paint which is available on desktop and mobile (you can sync drawings between the two with an account which I really like)

Nah I have a laptop thats convertable, so you can bend the screen back against the keyboard and it effectively becomes a tablet. And a pen that came with it-- its not meant for art I don't think, but it works well enough xD

Hi! I'm done. Sorry My internet was down yesterday so I couldn't send it ta ya then. I also didn't add the...freckles? I'm not sure what they are but I wasn't sure if my image didn't save clearly or what and I didn't want to risk drawing a trait I wasn't sure she had.

Let me know if you want me to resize it or such. (Or put her name on it)

Ooo, never seen alcohol markers used in art before.

I've seen it all, love the artwork. Mind if you do a headshot (bust if you're still doing them for free) of my avie? (can't post a pic right now. It's my sylestia avie.) I'd ask for a full piece but I'm broke irl.
