They're amazing! I personally think they look a little too friendly-- not fearsome enough...? Perhaps alter the eyes just a tad to make them have a bit more of a fierce expression. I'm certainly not an artist so I couldn't even tell you how to do that... but I'm sure you understand!

I really don't have anything else to suggest. They just look too friendly, and I've always viewed them as fierce hunters. But, of course, otherwise quite gorgeous!

They are adorable.. and that's the problem. They're supposed to be selfish, dangerous carnivores, but they look like pretty cute plush toys...

Maybe their heads should have sharper, more triangular features? And a feather "crown" could be nice!

I do agree on the hind legs

Perhaps tail ends can be a mutation change later, I love the base

Oh.
Hm.
I gave a lot of feedback last time I recall ^^;; and I don't mean to sound rude at all, but with new changes there come new problems, so let's get started.

I think the first glaring issue to me is how board-like the feathers on the wings look. They look like wooden paddles, and all lined up neatly on one plane too.
Is there some way to alter the shading so that it appears to have some kind of a curvature?
I'm struggling to put into words exactly what is strange about it so have some more wing references instead (just pulled off of google)
Just look at the top two. ^

Maybe the nytekrie's wings bother me because they're too uniform.
Feathers are flat sheets kinda, so the mane thing that's going on looks a little strange when it's so.. 3D?
All the feathers look like they have too much volume like,, chocolate feathers... or something.
Also, on birds, the feathers at the furthest ends are not the longest! But here it looks like they are so that might also be throwing me off.

Okay next! Fierceness!
Male is better, female looks like she's seen some things. I actually like the male's facial expressions a lot now :)) yay!
But also wouldn't mind them looking scarier. scare me.

Someone's mentioned already the leg fluff and head fluff things, which I agree with. Don't remember who it was but somewhere up there!

And I guess a final statement would still be: Sometimes less is more!
You don't have the line every single individual feather for it to read as a wing.
The entire body doesn't have to be shaded to give feather markings - Birds are actually quite smooth overall if you look at the way the feathers layer.
You don't have to have highlights on every section of every feather too; that actually contributes to lack of depth and focus to the animal overall.
And this next one might not apply at all because of this site's slowly shifting art style as you guys revamp the species, but a mix of hard shadows/hard contrast lines along with the softer shading that's already going on could be quite nice, as it's how light actually works irl!

And I think that's about all I got on it now. If I get around to it maybe I'll do a couple sketches again show y'all what I mean.

THAT ALL BEING SAID: Much better than last time
: )

First of all congrats on the beautiful revamp outcome! ^_^

I have only one concern about the revamp. The male is perfect but the female's body is being covered by the wings. The patterns of the genes and some mutations at the back won't be seen because it's entirely covered by the wings :(

Maybe you can position the wings on a different angle like spread up or any angle that doesn't cover the entire body?

*stares in awe for several minutes before starting to break things down*

I distinctly see more than just 4 base colors for the update. Eye color, main color, underbelly color (yay underbelly color! <3 ) feather color for the head crest and wing tips, and I can't tell 100% if it's the same color or two different colors for the beak and the claws. I'm going to guess there will be some prominent use of accent or mutation colors to accommodate this and *hope* that the beak and claw colors will be isolated and won't impact genes anymore.

Can't wait to see how it all pans out! <3
