You look at the base stats of the pets you are starting with and knowing that prismatics give 200hp and 10 to everything else, you calculate out how many you would need to get to max. Using my ligs for an example:

Start: hp in the 800s, mana 120, and all other stats in the 60s
Gen1: 1000, 130, 70
Gen2: 1200, 140, 80
Gen3: 1400, 150, 90
Gen4: 1600, 160, 100 - all stats except hp and mana maxed. Now nurturing can really help to get hp up, so I just did mana philters (20 increase to mana) for the next gen with nurture boosts
Gen5: started out at 1600, 180, 100, but with the nurturing finished in the high 1900s for hp.
Gen6: Gave mana philters again - started out in the high 1900s, 200, 100. With nurtures was able to get the hp to max as well. Fully max stat!

Nurtures can be hit or miss. During fests, you will get a ton of nurtures. Outside of fests, you will only get a decent amount if you use the nurture boost, which isn't cheap and you may be better off just waiting another generation. Nurturing always does the stats other than hp and mana first, which usually max out first when philtering, so I don't usually bother too much with nurturing until after those stats are maxed. Next is hp and then finally mana.

Hope that helps.

Using advanced search, it looks like regular zolnixi essences produce pets with starting base stats of 155 hp, 90 mana and all other stats in the teens. So it would take 9 generations of prismatics to get to 1900, 190, 100 which with nurture boosts you could probably get to max stat at that point. That means you would need 36 prismatics if you want two pairs of max stats, or 34 if you only want one pair. Plus 9 gender swaps and with regular essences you will most likely need dyes at the end to fix the color swings. Regular essences are pretty bad with really light and really dark colors.

Using enhanced essences would cut one generation off because they start off with higher stats. I don't know what the price difference is for essences (I rarely use them), so not sure if it is cheaper to get four prismatics than to upgrade to enhanced essences (you also cut out needing dyes with enhanced essences).

Well, before you start statting you will need to get two pairs of 6 vis pets with the specific traits you want so that is where I would focus first. It will take awhile to get that, so you will have time to gather what you need, but at least now you have an idea of how much you will need. Plus it gives you time to decide if you really love a design enough to max stat it. Nothing like staring at a project for several months to give you that insight. Lol

If I could afford it, enhanced essences are the way to go (more tp and no dyes needed), but they are pricey and rarely go on sale. I have done a few project with reg essences and they work fine, other than color swing issues and how slow they are to really get going. I am extremely picky about colors, so I almost always end up using greater dyes on the final pair.

Most of my non-themed projects I use existing pets and AS to find pets set up for public breeding with just the traits I need and then dye the final pair. Mostly because I am too impatient at the start of a project. Lol

Anyway, good luck with your project!

Glad I could help. At this point I am trying not to collect too many extra pets since I need the space for all of my own projects, but thank you.

I like the first "other" outcome and I also like the last one but not as much.
