This is stupid. It's a death sentence... but... "Sorry, I think we would like to live more." She used her tail to sweep the elf off her feet, hopefully.

The elf topples, gun going off as she accidentally pulls the trigger. The bullet whizzes through the air, hitting Nikkie in the left shoulder.
Nikkie yelps in surprise, shrinking back down to his origional size before shifting into his human form and holding his injured shoulder. A moment later, blood was already dripping past his fingers. "I'm fine. I'm fine." He growls, glaring at the elf, who was knocked out cold.

"I-I'm so sorry, Nikkie!" I knew it was stupid. I knew someone would get hurt. Ugh. She pulled her wings closed to her body.

"It's fine. Let's get out of here." Nikkie mutters, blue eyes locking onto Kua's. He tries to give her a smile, but it ends up as a grimace.
The elf stirs, she looks up at the two. "Who are you?" She mutters before noticing the gun beside her and the injured Nikkie. "I am so sorry. Please forgive me. Don't kill me."
Nikkie looks about ready to murder the elf. He didn't seem to care whether or not the elf was sorry or completely responsible.

"Don't Nikkie. She wasn't in her right mind. It wasn't her choices." She put her arm in front of Nikkie, stopping him. "As for leaving, I agree."

Nikkie ran his tongue over his sharp canines, keeping a firm glare on the elf the whole time. "Well, who ever's choice it was needs to fess up. The scardey cat probably is afraid of their own shadow."
"No, they really are not. They are a powerful being not to be messed with. I messed with the wrong being. Don't follow in my footsteps." The elf pleads.
"Yeah, sure. Whatever." Nikkie says, dismissing the elf. "I'm sure I can take on this 'powerful being' if I wanted to."

She paused, exhaling a bit. Don't show you're nervous. "Are they down this path? Just how powerful are they?"

"Powerful beyond imagination." The elf starts.
"Probably exaggurating." Nikkie interrupts before letting the elf continue.
"Mighty in magic and in focus, you will not find it easy to distract them." The elf finishes, leaving the two to figure out her cryptic message. She sits placidly in front of the two, grey eyes boring a hole into Kua's head.
"Right. So, down this path or no?" Nikkie repeats the question.
"Many paths in life, some you will find happiness and others you will find misery. Choose wisely." The elf says before again falling silent.
"Stop speaking in riddles you annoying elf." Nikkie spat the word 'elf' out as if it was foul to even think about.
