After some slight hesitation, I continue foreward

You decide to go forward and walk ahead at a leisurely pace. After walking for what feels like hours you come across a small eggling in the middle of your path. The mother is nowhere in sight and the egg is cold to the touch. You pick it up, and place it in your bag. Do you decide to take a break or continue moving forward?

After placing the hatchling on your shoulder you try to decide if you want to take a break or push on forward.

(Sorry i should have made it clear that you had to decide to continue forward or rest. Resting will take a turn but will grant you and your pet 15HP each)

After ensuring that the eggling is safe in my bag, I continue onward.

You walk a short distance and notice a weird stick to the side of the road. As you pick it up you realize it is a staff. After examining it for traps or poison you decide to keep it.

After walking straight for miles you notice something glimmering in the distance. As you approach it you see it is a small pile of gold. You pick some of it up and add it to your satchel.

I continue on, using the new staff as a walking stick and using it to check for traps on the floor ahead

As you push forward you notice the sun is almost in the middle of the sky. As you are watching the sun you trip an stumble. When you check to see what you tripped over you see a broom. You try to collect the broom but as soon as you touch it, it disappears into thin air (sent back home). When turn back around you are facing a wall. You see that the seemingly forever ending corridor has come to an end. You are forced to turn left.
