Newt glanced around in surprise, the look on his face priceless. He shook his head, closed his eyes, and tossed his dagger up in the air. Ignoring the illusions, it mae a beeline for the real nicote and astrana.

Nicote reached up and grabbed it. "Found. If I die in the next 5 minutes....."

Astra dropped her invisibility and the illusion. "Won't be a problem." She touched Newt teleporting him through as light and placed him back on the tree.

Newt couldn't decide whether he wanted to strangle the duo or laugh and he climbed down the tree yet again.


Nicote grined cheerfully. "Good one. Now let's just hope he laughs instead of impaling his dagger into us."

Taeri let the illusions fade.

"Well, in that case, we all knew it was going to happen eventually."

He lay there still watching the clouds. "Man I could use a nap." He huffed as a hand found its way about his chest. "Awesome you're awake!" Dexion smiled looking over at Dorian. "I thought you were a goner!"
"My head is killing me." The mage whined still not getting up or even looking over at his partner.
"Aw I'm sorry...I really can't do anything to help you right now."

Newt abandeoned thoughts of strangling and walked to Dorian. "Stand back." he told Dexion. He placed his hand on the mage's head, closed his eyes....
....a brigh suddenly shone out. Newt vemoved and asked. "That better?'

Nicote smiled at Astrana. "We're not going to die just yet."

"To our strange savior. " she said with a smirk.

Taeri saw the energy field of Newt get dimmer, and the energy field of Dorian brighten.
The stone nudged her mentally, saying, 'Eka weohnata taka ono laust naka. I will not take possession of you without permission.'

Nicote and Newt both winced at the words, Nicote rubbing his forearm and Newt rubbing his side.

"Just be careful with that thing-it can change its mind, it could attrcact your greatest fear. I had it once and the moment I saw...well, something I'd rather not deal with.-it went crazy. I never got a break for a week after that." Newt said.
