Everything went dark for a few moments before a strong pain seized your body, like every nerve in your body was frozen before being set on fire.
Your eyes open again as you cough violently, red liquid falling to the ground below you. Oriah was with you, looking terrified. You weakly stand to your feet, feeling slightly different... like you got taller. You also felt incredible warm, as if you were wrapped in a furred blanket. You look at your hands, your bakh naghs were gone, but your fingers... they appeared as if the claws of the beast and the fake claws you wore as weapons had merged and placed themselves at the tips of your hands, instead of fingernails you found dangerous and sharp claws.
As your hair fell into your face, you noticed that it had gained a more whitish color, and your teeth felt sharper in your mouth.
"Leto... I... I'm so sorry... I didn't mean for this to happen, but its all I could do" Oriah apologized, reaching a hand out sympathetically. Her eyes were glowing purple, but the color was quickly fading- she used her magic, that was obvious, and she used it to fix you... you think...

She tried to curl up at the pain. She hated pain. It hurt, searing her body and causing her to beg for it to stop so she should go home. The hacking hurt her lungs, her throat as she stumbled upwards, head whirling as she tried to balance.
She was aware now: she'd been merged with the beast that had killed her. She smiled slightly, not sure if she was trying to reassure Lady Oriah or herself more, "The creatures of the snow are beautiful" she managed to rasp out, touching her throat with the back of her hand.
She tilted her head, looking at the white. White was a beautiful colour. She wondered if the warmth was because she actually had fur or because it was like an invisible layer. Either way, it would only assist her ability in the cold (and hinder her more in the heat). Her tongue drew over her teeth - or were they fangs now?
She quickly fell back onto her knee and bowed her head, "If you'd have me, Lady Oriah.. I'll take you up on your offer." she gulped and felt something constricting in her throat. Goodbye. The words echoed. She felt empty, broken, but was no longer to follow Quillork, those had been his instructions now. She was not to be his slave, "If it's okay, please treat me like I'm used to being treated as I adjust.."
She told herself not to cry.
Not in public.
She touched her head gently and then her back. The creature didn't have visible ears, but she could still hear.. and she wondered if she'd gotten its tail.

*Well, the way I treat you is very different from how others treat people of your status... and we might have to do something to hide you, as I know inhuman looking people are... not treated kindly...* Oriah looked away, pulling something out. A mirror. She held the smallish handheld mirror out to you, and in the reflection, the monster stood, more docile now, unsure of what was going on.
*In order to restore you, I forced your body to repair itself at an extended rate, but the Magic I used couldnt determine what part of you was what, So remnants of the monster, when it touched you, merged with your body... Im still trying to figure out how to fix people and keep them human...* Oriah confessed.
*I think, for now, its best you wait in here until we reach land, then we find my... wait- ugh, what do we do about the prince? Im still supposed to escort him* she pondered. *Whatever, we can deal with that later, for now* Oriah took a deep breath, wielding her fan as a wand again.
She murmured an incantation, and a circle of light formed around both of you. You felt a burning in your chest, a good one this time, and when you looked down, a magic circle mark had formed like a tattoo, but had a feeling of more power.
*Im officially your magi, and you are officially my king* Oriah said, nodding respectfully.

"I meant.. how I'm used to being treated by.. uhm, Prince Oba. Following orders, just a little bit, just small things" she begged, "It doesn't have to be big, just small things like telling me to go get something so it doesn't feel like I'm lost." she looked over to the shoulder to the monster, "Whatever I am, I can't be treated worse than the slave house."
Leto carefully got up, stabilizing herself before walking over to the cage, offering her hand, but ready to withdraw it if the creature tried to bite. "You called your magic party tricks. I think it's beautiful. The prince? The Prince will try to get his revenge on me. Please don't talk about him for now."
She touched her chest, "Yes, thank you.."

*Right, Ill try my best...* Oriah said. *Honestly, Ive always preferred using my magic as just simple party tricks, I dont like doing things like... well..* she loosely beckoned towards you. *Magic is fickle, and if you arent specific enough, then things end up like you and Callie did* Oriah sighed. She looked worried at the mention of the prince.
*Well, for now, all we can do is wait to arrive at shore, Ill guide you to my fathers house, I can also show you the local wildlife and some... er, Nevermind, we should probably avoid towns* Oriah said. *Now, uh, I command you to patiently wait here until we reach shore* Oriah said, trying her best to make you feel comfortable.
The monster snarled, but showed no signs of planning on attacking you. It seemed almost threatened in a way.
*We can keep the monster if you want, Im sure I can find away to smuggle it. Volcafrost beasts are fairly easy to tame if it senses a bigger threat than itself* She tells you.

Leto laughed, "Yes - I'm not going to throw myself overboard, don't worry yourself. I can't really go anywhere unless you meant stay on this spot directly. If you aren't comfortable, do not worry. I doubt the Prince will last long before he is forced to need me. Until then we can not mention such a tentative subject."
She sighed, "Beautiful creature of snow. I am like it's child now. Your magic and this Volcafrosts child. Tame.. I am tame, everything is tame will enough energy. Whether it is from kindness is a different matter - I'd hate to be trusted through fear alone. I think it would be happy back in it's home, but the ship runs out of food for it."
"Take me to the towns; take me to the wildlife; take me where I need to be taken. Do not be afraid. I can stay hidden, but if they are scared by this development, I tell them honestly: I became like this to not die and fulfil my duty. I will prove their fear as irrational."

*Very well, we will take the Volcafrost with us* Oriah declares. *This is why I chose you, Leto, you truly has the energy to change the world for the better* Oriah tells you with a smile on her face.
A few hours later of sitting around in the basement, the ship reaches shore.
*Well, we should get on our way then* Oriah drew her fan wand and muttered some words, and the volcafrost shrunk down incredibly to the size of a large wolf. *This will make travel much easier... Volcafrosts are meant for large open spaces like the Volcanic tundras, which is why they grow to such incredible sizes* Oriah explained.
She breaks apart her fan, tossing four of them into the wall of the ship. *Take my cloak, itll hide you for now* Oriah takes off her robes, handing it to you. Underneath the cloak she wasnt dressed very modestly, with fairly revealing dark, almost black clothes on.
*We leave on your command* Oriah says.

"Oh.. thank you" she looked a bit stunned, watching the volcafrost get smaller and then attempting to hug it around the neck, "What is with hurting the ship is such a way?" she looked amused, watching the fans hit the ship wall.
"Lady Oriah.. if I am to be your king, people will have to accept my form eventually. I will hide using my skills if anything, but there shouldn't be much need. I will show I can fight, but not harm, if challenged. Your robes must be important, they hide so much in them."
She fiddled with the necklace Lady Oriah had previously slipped around her neck - or was it Princess who had? She couldn't be sure, but she still kept it dangling. Maybe even the tribal stable boy..
"Oh! I'll go grab your horse and then we can go." she suggested, scurrying off to the stables to tack up and stroke the black mare with the beautiful white star on her forehead.

(Alright so Im a little bit of an idiot, and forgot what I named Oriahs father. If you remember off the top of your head let me know, but if not then Ill just give him a new name, I dont wanna go through too much trouble)
*Dont fret over the ship darling, all that will remain of my magic will be small little pokes in the wall, nothing that will be noticed* Oriah said with a grin.
*Stay hidden for now, one day they will accept you, but for now you happen to draw a lot of attention, and when we are trying to hide, that is not a good thing* Oriah reminds you. *My cloak holds nothing but material objects, nothing that cant be replaced, and I trust you with my Cloak* She reassures you.
Once you returned with the horse, Oriah, with the wave of a hand, briefly opened up a hole in the ship, luckily it was above water, and the two of you quickly headed out onto the docks, and Oriah closed the hole behind her after retrieving her fan blades, clicking them back into place.

Leto sighed, "Okay, as long as no one gets injured.." she ran her fingers down the ship walls, "It's childish, but I do not want to wear the cloak. The worst they will do is harm me and I am capable of self defence, plus I have you if they are particularly tough. Being a Prince tends to draw attention, but he was fine. We do not have to go through the town and can stay to the outskirts"
