Yes, I did.
It was sad.
I held a funeral for it.
And then tried to make my monitor connect to the computer through sheer willpower.
I am way too proud of my Black Friday purchases.
I bought the wrong bundle.
Whoops.
I hate actual Black Friday shopping.
I hate shopping in general.
Overly friendly people everywhere *shudders*
Unless you count my ultimate plan to get a t-shirt from every major college in the country.
I'm going to go rant to myself on a Google Doc.
Unless you want to listen to me rant.
No, you don't.
So I finally slept at 2 in the morning after binge-watching YouTube with my friend. Then apparently I woke up at 4 for some reason, said something, and passed back out two seconds later.
And then I drowned my waffles in syrup this morning.
Fun times.

I hate Black Friday, too. Actually, I hate shopping for shopping's sake, but I'll go buying if I need something. My experience with Black Friday has been the opposite of yours. My sister and I went shopping once on that day because we were both off work and watched 2 grown women play tug of war with a Cabbage Patch Doll (yes, this was in the early 80's) until they pulled it apart and then started hitting each other over the head with it. Other people were snatching stuff from carts or even from the hands of kids.
Redding, CA actually outlawed stores offering coupons or specials to the "first x customers" and opening before regular business hours because of a huge riot in the parking lot of the mall there at 430 one morning waiting for JC Penney to open at 5. The ordinance required specials be rewarded randomly throughout the day to avoid stampedes.
I usually pointedly stay in the house on that day. I do a movie marathon and make sure I have enough snacks to do me and watch the news in the evening to cluck my tongue over the mayhem. Much more fun.
