It works blackout is breathing fast mostly for the fact he just fought a mountain lion and also because his throat was just ripped open. [i'd think that would be our reaction too]

blackout in the middle of being wrapped tries to get up as the mountain lion comes back and tries to get the new foal but the lead stallion kicks the mountain lion who hisses in return the stallion chases the lion away the herd surrounding the humans and blackout and the foal sniffs luca as she works

the young fillie looks a lot like blackout and nothing like the lead stallion
blackout lets the human wrap his neck feeling relaxed that the chief is here now
