There was a loud racket upstairs as Prussia managed to slip another slice of pumpernickel toast with jam into the piano instead of removing the crumbs.
Inside the Kitchen....
"Ve~ What is Germany saying?" Italy asked.
"I'm saying that... Well..." Germany looked away.
It was awkward city with cream cheese and England's scones on top.
Germany bent down and whispered something in Italy's ear.
"WHAAAAAT?!!!!"

The waiter came back with their drinks. "Are you ready to order?" he asked blandly.

I realized that I was really hoping everything would turn out all right for Germany, partially so that what I had just said would be true, but also partially because I figured the both of them could use some happiness and less uncertainty right now

Prussia was still struggling against Hungary, a metal pan in his hand. Hungary also had a metal pan, and the two were facing off like Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
