I've got an honest question.
I was just browsing the Trade Broker and became curious. (The answer is probably going to be a big, loud, dis-grunted "NO", but no shame in curiosity, right?) Now that the Vulnyx pet has been redone, will the Vulnyx inspired items be changed, too? Like, the ears and tails? I'd expect the "no" because of how much work has been done on Sylestia recently, and I personally don't mind either way, but I felt curious enough to ask.

I don't think so, only because most of the items imo seem pretty accurate.
Er. I mean other than getting super duper fluffy.
Okay now I see what you mean aha.
Maybe if they have time to budget in more ears and stuff. o: though I have no problem with how they are now. And I think it'd be cool if we kept the old vul stuff and then get new vul stuff. Like we'll have flat versions and super fluffy versions. c:

Yeah, I forgot to mention something about that. Like I said, I was just curious and don't mind either way. I figured no because items don't really get updated often, let alone re-released, and pet items with new genes don't get put out until there are a number of new designs built up. -mind wanders to newer species, such as Luffox and Aeri- ....hmmmm

We probably wouldn't go back and redo those.

I know it's been mentioned that in the future we'll be given a heads-up before major art changes are made, could you give us an idea of how long? Say 1 week prior or 1 day? Just curious. That way people with essences would know when to hold on to them instead of using them. It would be a shame to buy an essence and design a new pet, just to have it completely change 2 days later, when you could have waited and based your designs on the new changes.
I'm not complaining about the new vulnyx, I happen to love the changes.

That's going to be one rough week of anticipation.

Ah but think of all those essences and pet dyes that will be purchased and horded during that week. A marketing bonanza! People will save up their money to buy diamonds so they can get the mysticals. Others will be holding their pets from breeding so that they will be ready on that day. I think a week is perfect. And nothing wrong with a little anticipation. I look forward to great surprises in store.

I'm sure a lot of hard work went into these new designs, but I REALLY hate my Vulnyxes now. I picked the Vulnyx as my starter because I liked the sleek, graceful design and the coy/mischievous facial expression. The new designs just look derpy-cute and fluffy, which is disappointing because there seemed to have been plenty of pets like hat already. :( Not to mention, I was collecting Vulnyxes based on how they looked, but now every single one of them is rather hideous, and my starter especially is a disappointment. I have to say that I'm feeling the same way as at least one other person that's posted here; a complete redo on my starter since the look I went for was completely ruined would be awesome.
That little nugget of negativity having been dropped, I think that the revamp itself is a nice one overall. There's much more texture in the fur, and their appearances match what their descriptions said better.
