Yes, GoldGryphon. Your sylesti would have to be hatched and posted by the end date of the contest to be a valid entry. (Contest ends: 3/26/14 at 2PM server time)
Having nothing to do with the contest--which is cool--what, in your opinions, members, is the single most endangered Themed pet type?
Personally, I think it is either the Springtime Zolnixi or the Sunrise Sylvorpa. Thoughts?
I'm not sure. This isn't taking into consideration exclusive pets or the rare zone nephinies?
It's hard to say how many of those 2013 spring fest pets exist since they were never tagged. I guess the other problem is people leaving over time making them less and less available for breeding. I might have the largest collection of the 2013 spring fest pets. I'm not sure. If anything should ever happen to me I've talked of willing my themed collection to Zelly and Mourninglily so someone can still breed them for people.
I'd think all those 2013 Spring Fest pets are pretty much in the same boat except for the bulbories and the faeloras which there were lots of in comparison. (The bulbories and faeloras came out first during the festival with the other species available at the time coming out a bit later.)
I think other rather scarce pets are those second/third wave pets from festivals. I remember Halloween pets seeming particularly scarce. And I also noticed the second wave of the last summer pets feeling rather hard to get. I think I'm still missing completely one of the species from there. But I'm not sure how much of it was just chance being mean to me, either.

So glad I came to the thread today because I'm been breeding for the contest since it was announced and thought the last day was the 28th! I would have been bumming if I missed the deadline. >.< I am just a few hours short of another generation of breeders for multi-vis. :( No way they'd hatch in time.
Here is my Rainy Day x New Chick Aurleon
(and just for fun, what it would look like with all vis traits.)
Some others that I bred but am not entering in the contest.

Contest Extension!
With the site being glitchy and in maintenance for most of the last day of the contest, I am extending the entry time by one day.
So you may submit your entries until Friday, 3/27/2015 (2pm server time).
At that time I will officially close the contest and the winners will be posted.
Thanks and good luck everyone!

Honestly, I don't know enough about the Exclusives and Zone Nephinies to hazard a guess. It just seemed to me that those early Valentines and Spring pets don't even have very many descendants. I did some research and found this PB Springtime Zolnixi--
Her owner hadn't been back to Sylestia in over half a year, but had left her set For Sale. (Grab!)
I have not yet thought of a suitably splendid name for her.
Anyhow, this got me interested in the whole un-Tagged "Tagged" pets thing.

She's gorgeous! What a great find!
If you want to do some breeding projects with the old 2013 springs just let me know and I'd be glad to help.

Thank you, Savynn. I have an egg from her and Taptothebeat's PB Springtime todd sitting in my Hatchery right now--
--but I obviously can't create any kind of project with just two.
BTW, is there an outlandish bribe you might accept in exchange for giving one of your Tamed Springtimes some Pearl Armor? Or Dapple? ;)
Edit: It's a boy!

I'll honestly have to think about it. I've been kinda anxious about mutating them. I'd like to keep at least one of each trait sorta preserved how they were. (I'm probably being weird.)
I gotta say I am a fan of pearl armor but I'd be tempted to switch one of my advanced runes males to a female for it first. I do have a few of them. (I also have spring 2013 themes in my "various festival pets" folder because I ran out of space.) But currently I already have plans for my remaining gender changing philters.
I was thinking also though that it's really close to the zolnixi revamp. I'm kinda curious what'll happen since genes/mutations can be sometimes rather altered. Would you mind asking me again after the revamps come out?

Not at all, and that is probably the best idea anyhow.
