Yes but that would also shut down your account due to dropping below the minimum for even the Regular account. However, you can always open another savings account in the future.

Hi, can I get my account updated? Just in case you forget to update it later. It's been 4 days since I deposited 9.98m to my account but my gold amount is still the same with before I deposited my gold.

The number showing should say 110,000,000.

As explained on the Loans Page in the &A (second question) Interest works on compound rather than Simple. It takes whatever you owe and bases the interest off of that rather than the original number. You can lower the amount of interest you pay each month by lowering the amount you owe.
