This podcast review we'll be taking a look at Spooked. Spooked is narrated by Glynn Washington, who is the Grandson of a seer. This podcasts is about people who have experiences with the ghostly and otherworldly nature of our beings. This is a podcast of the ghosts and the mystical, sure to send a shiver down your spine. A segment taken straight from the description of this podcast sums it up nicely, "A student of magic, Glynn has traveled the world in search of the mystic, the strange, and the divine. I cant explain everything Ive seen. Washington admits. I keep wondering, what am I missing? Thats really what this show is all about." Hello and welcome to quarenthings! I'm Aspen, I'm new to the artists and writers on the sylestia times. Since school were I live is officially out for the summer I now have time to do things I've always wanted to try. As of recently I have discovered Destiny 2 is free to download on the Xbox1 store, so of course I got it. and after about a month of playing I have made a new freind and even convinced my brother to join me. We started doing daily calls on hangouts to play destiny, minecraft and halo. It's has been a lot of fun, I'm a hunter, my brother is a Titan, and my freind is a warlock, so we have an epicly balanced fireteam. We also do pretty good in Crucible together. It's been loads of fun so far. I cant wait to eventaly meet up in real life with my freinds again when the whole pandemic subsides. Anyways, stay safe everyone, and thanks for reading.

What you want to do for the Times: The position for me doesn't really matter! I could serve as a proofreader or maybe even a writer!

Maybe after a while working in a lower position, I can become more comfortable and help tackle something bigger such as a separate article centered around short stories. It could be an ongoing story series or I could help with others to revive Short Tales, with a twist this time as pre-written story prompts and users can send in how they'd like to finish the story.

Also I have something of a habit with coming up with ideas for better or worse, as I read through the latest Sylestia Times issue and going over my sign-up form for ideas and what could be added to the paper such as a craft/Do-it-Yourself section and a recipes/cooking article, since I feel those ideas could become rather popular with the readers who are particularly interested in those topics. If you're looking for some ideas, I could help contribute them to the newspaper, as the Sylestia Times has very great potential and hosts fun, informative articles that I hope I can help provide to the readerbase as well!

I'm also experienced in informative writing, so I'd love to help with contributing informative articles to the Times!

Have you had any experience with something like this before?: Well, this may not count as real experience, but when I was younger, I would make my own newspapers with all kinds of articles in them and would even show some friends what I made. Sadly, the newspaper I made (The Daily Rose) never really took off but it was really fun to do and I enjoyed writing stories for my newspaper! I enjoy writing stories, making and playing Mad Libs, and coming up with new stories!

As for Proofreading, I haven't had an official job as one, but there have been many times where I spotted misspellings and grammatical errors in many things including official magazines and signs, to the point where I was even suggested to get a job as one once I have enough college experience!

Any extras: Hmmm, come to think of it I just thought of some more ideas for the paper regardless if I do get chosen to work on it or not (I'll still remain a loyal reader and fan!):

- Even though this idea could be debated on, I think a good addition to the Times is an article centered around real life pets since this is a virtual pets website and many players happen to own pets both digital and in real life. Topics such as tips on animal care, player questions about their real life pets that get answered by petsperts (Pet experts, or would that be Pexperts?), stories about said real life pets, spotlighting pets and more are perfect for this article. There could even be ties to the Sylestian world such as giving tips on caring for hatchlings, explaining to the readers what the favorite foods of different Sylesties are, and stories on shenanigans different Sylesties get up to.

- There could be a short section next to the games where readers can learn short phrases and words in different languages, which is something that actually exists in my town's local newspaper. With a portion of Sylestia's playerbase knowing multiple languages and another wanting to learn others, this feature could be a perfect addition! Phrases and words could be chosen depending on any current themes such a Sylestia Times issue being released in the Summer, so there could be common travel phrases and words centered around popular vacation spots such as the beach and waterpark.

- Speaking of foreign languages, there could also be a related section in the paper centered around other cultures. We all celebrate holidays such as Valentine's Day differently and come from all different walks of life, so why not showcase this in it's own article?
