Komadori it looks like there are only 2 people who are not trying to capture the Kelpari, if that helps you decide. Fighting the Kelp gives you priority, but if you fail (random.org will decide the outcome) then the people wishing to capture the Kelp via traps will be thrown into the mix.

Chapter 6:

Wonderfulb2uty throws their lesser green trap from the bush. The kelpari quickly and effortlessly steps aside and watches the pathetic net fall to the forest floor. Acting fast, Sessi and Angelzrulez throw their blue traps at the kelpari. They catch on the animal's kelp headdress, but he easily shakes them off. It looks like only strong traps will work on this one. Thrackerzod, Mewzzer, Eveanw and ColonelHazard throw their strong traps and Mewzzer's is the only one to land on the kelpari.

Mewzzer runs to the kelpari and calms it just as Komadori did with their faelora, meanwhile everyone else rests and catches some small fish in the lake.

The next morning everyone is preparing to go back down the path where they came from, only to run into a group of moving trees.... wait... moving trees?!? A group of ents look at the group angrily, and one comes forward, obviously their leader.

"Intruder! You can not pass and must live the rest of your days within this circle!" Suddenly vines violently sprout from the ground and form a small circle around the group. The vines grow sharp thorns and threaten to wrap around anyone's ankles that are too close to the edge. "You have disrespected our home!" the ent shouts angrily. Someone in the group shouts, "Isn't there a way we can make it up to you?" The ent thinks for a moment before answering, "Yes. Give us your faelora. He was once my pet and you stole him from me!" The ent points its staff dangerously close to Komadori's face.

"And what if we don't give you the faelora?" one of you asks. The ent snarles, "Answer me this: To those in the soil I am their mother, to those beneath my gaze I burn and to those within my reach I am fire. Who am I?" It pauses to allow the question to sink in. "If you can answer this riddle you will prove to us that you are one with nature, we will forgive you."
