You pad up the rough path to the mountain. Your paws ache as the gravel raked against them. To the left you can hear a gently dripping if you want to leave the main path, but it is getting dark.

The young cat stiffened up, a little surprised before the older one sighed, "He's Hornet. I'm Dusk. Don't listen to him, he's just a little.. upset. Doesn't trust clan cats after one perished with his sister." he paused as a stray leaf fluttered down " Could you come and see Marigold? Maybe you can help her?" the elder begged.

I look surprised as I thought he couldn't talk / sure we can go to sundown place

since he is 6 moons old he could be an apprentice now / I look down at Thornkit / if I could make him an apprentice right now then he would be perfectly able to go with us

You look back towards the forest. Badgerkit could walk that far with short breaks, and Snailkit was light enough to carry.

After a while you hear a crash inside and hold your breath. Soon, a mud covered and exhausted Oddpaw was dragging Larkpaw out. They both flopped down beside you. (Larkpaw is still out cold)
