the kings children are looked down upon just as much as him...... and there is none left among the common people that would dare take the throne he said the thought troubling him

But if nobody dares to take the throne, are they willing to get together a committee of wise people? There could be a council, and two lead councillors who make the final decisions, but the two lead councillors must agree on whatever decision they make, and they must listen to the rest of the council's opinions before making their decision. In the council, it should be composed half of wise men, and half of the kingdom's people, chosen by the other people to be their representatives."
