"Welp, the boats can't carry more than two people if we want to get a load in, so you're out of luck. Takes two people to get a good haul as well." he said lazily
She nodded,"Okay then,i was just asking. Thanks for your time" she sorta stormed off.makes sense, they do need lots of room for the fish and the nets. Now i'l have to find a small job,get enough money and buy a ticket for passage to another shore. she groaned.

They had said they didn't do ferrying, so you couldn't exactly buy a ticket. You may need to walk tot he next village.

Buying equines like that could be up to 500 gold. The next fishing village could be only a few miles away.

I'll check out the next village over, then ill see.I walked out of the town, trying to not be too noticeable.I hung my head so my hair hung over my face, making sure not many people could see my face.If i get yelled at one more time,i'm screwing life

After a day of walking your soles ached but you made it to the next village. This one seemed to be having a festival.

well now it's easier to blend in,but harder to get around.I scanned the nearby shops, people and roads.it looks so crazy, yet it's a festival that normal for festivals. All the noise was irritating and all the people, but it was nice in a odd way
The cart pulled to a halt, "Both nomads, but we got each other. Cities won't want mages" he flicked his finger, not giving a hint at which one used magic. Neither of them seemed to have weapons and green-voice jumped out, he became touching the stone at the dead end you'd come to.
Heph breathed slowly before reminding herself that these guys did try to harm her and the guards in the tunnels, if not killed any. She quietly dropped a pen between the rocks on the road, as a signal for the guards, just in case she failed, though she hoped not. She grabbed her rock and creeped up behind the blue-voiced one, sending up a silent prayer before swinging hard at his head, hoping to knock him unconscious while the green-voiced one's back was turned.

The carnival seemed to be worshipping a pagen goddess, wise wolf of the west. They apparently fertilised the land every year and if you didn't please them the crops would be bad.
(Please tell me if this kind of thing offends you.)
