Ignoring the shadows, as I was one of them too, I made myself comfortable at the base of a nearby tree and drifted off into sleep, wanting to rest until the sun rises.

As usual, I was cursed. Dreams came fleetingly, filled with voices of the past and voices of the future... but garbled, so I couldn't make anything out of them.
