Delphie walked through with her head held high and looked around.

The Aviery had wood walls painted to look like different natural scenes, the roof was replaced 3with giant glass windows allowing a clear view to the beautiful blue sky above, from down here it looks like there isn't even any glass in the way. The entire area is filled with plants and grass however you know none of them are real it's all fake.

You don't see a lot of other creatures there and if they are there the Aviery is a fairly large building so you they could very well be out of sight. However you do spot an angel, he's crouched down on the ground and looking up at the sky hopefully, he gets up and flaps his wings slowly lifting himself up he keeps going higher until he reaches the glass he reaches his hand out hopefully but stops when his middle finger is stopped by the glass. For a moment he just hovers there then he plummets down to the ground, at the last second he catches himself, landing softly in a heap on the ground.

Delphie smiled sadly, walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder, "It's not hopeless."

He shifts his wing so that he can look at you, he lets out a small sigh "I want to believe that but...How can we possibly escape?" his eyes widen suddenly and he hurries to stand "Ah sorry I shouldn't be such a downer I've only just met you" he mumbled and stuck out his hand "I'm Aster, Aster Dolvin"

"It's fine!" Delphie smiled and shook his hand. "I'm Delphine, Delphie for short." She said. "It's quite alright to be down, after all we are stuck in a torturous death hole with dimwits for guards." she said matter-of-factly.

he chuckled a soft quiet laugh "Yes it isn't the most ideal place is it?" He tucks his wings behind his back so that he isn't as imposing almost subconsciously "How long have you been here?" he asks then adds quickly "i-If you're okay with telling me I know it can be a sensitive subject to some"

"No it's alright." Delphie said sadly, "I've been here for 10 years. How long have you been here?"

He looked back up at the sky and thought about it for a long minute "It gets blurry at times, but the best I can guess is about 50 years." he said it calmly and flippantly, normal as if he were talking about what he had for lunch yesterday

Delphie nodded sadly, "I don't want to rot in here for the rest of my life, that is why i'm doing the best I can to get out." She frowned at the thought. "But all my attempts have ended in me being thrown back into my cell."

he looked over at you and nodded "Yeah I tried more times then I car eto count but nothing seemed to work" he frowned as if remembering something that bothered him but quickly covered it with a small smile
