Ash was still asleep but the bests where gone, she looked oddly puppy like when she slept
I yawn, then heave myself up, shaking myself to stretch my sore wings as I'd accidentally rolled onto one as I slept. Food, I needed food... and blood... I sniff the air, the voices in my head getting excited at the prospect of blood and my pupils dilate, wrought with desire for the thick red liquid.

Ash had woken up as well and she stretched and yawned, in there air there were many sells that lingered through the forest the smell of elk, and other small critters .
the lake was crystal clear, and there were many fish, the surface glittered in the sunlight
Fauna licked her lips. The sight of the fish made her drool a little. She wanted to catch one, yet she knew they were slippery and very hard to catch. If only she was good at hunting.

Elk, ey? My pupils dilate even more as I think of the blood that would spill over me as my claws sink into the flesh of the animal. I lick my jaws, then stalk off silently, looking for that elk.

The little one swished her tail " the fish are slow though I'm still too slow to catch one" she said with a giggle

Ash trots behind you yawning occasionally, and soon you come across a bull elk grazing
