Syria turned away and walked in the other direction. He snaked his way over to Israel without drawing anyone's attention.
"What are you doing here?" Syria hissed. He handed her a piece of cloth. "Put this on your head! You stand out like a wolf in a hen house!"
None of the other women in the Mosque had their hair exposed.
(I had a Muslim friend, plus I took a class on Religion, so yeah. I'm pretty well informed.)

"Cinnamon Rolls." Sweden repeated.
"Cinnamon rolls?! Oh God! This is hilarious!!!" America burst out, laughing.

"Ah. The desert can do that to you. The exit is beyond those two doors. You can take a right to get back to your homeland." Syria whispered. "I've got to go, or Iraq will get suspicious."

I nod determindly and say thanks one more time, guess I had misjudged him. I headed towards the exit. I felt bad for having written him off, perhaps I should try and get to know them better or at least I would try with Syria

The trip to Israel was a quick one. Jordan and Pakistan were getting back from their day at the mall in Dubai and were laughing about something or another.

I sigh with relief, I can't help but wonder what the three of them had been doing though. I push the thought away, no point in risking it. I check the time

It was eight in the evening when Israel got home. The sun was setting over the tops of buildings.

Taithlon smiled, "I heard you were scared of marmite, America, is that true?"
