1. you can send a friend request via the profil of the player you want to add. This system is a bit old and the request is only adding the player to your list so dont be surprise if you get one back.^-^

2. ah you fell victime to the color swing ! Dyes are not acurate and will sometime not give the result you were expecting. This is normal, if not a bit infuriating when neading a very specific color, lesser dyes can take a few tries to get right.

it's somthing you can buy in the sylestie plaza of the senctuary of saeriel or ethernia, at your level you should be able to get it. Assuming that you didnt just grind to level 60 only in the fest zone, tho if you did so you should be able to just breeze through the lower leveled part of the adventure and catch up to your level fairly quickly.

Thanks for answering my question but err ... This might have been a dumb mistake on my part: I didn't grind much at all. I recently sold gems for gold, bought Experience Orbs from the Trade Broker and used them on my pets. The objective was to be able to win the Fall Festival's Maws of Madness event but I still keep losing.

Anyways, as for breezing through the lower leveled part of the adventure, I can't seem to win any battles against the Humanoid opponents. (Hallowed Reaper, etc) Not just in the Maws of Madness but also in the Explore zone. :(

Any battle/combat tips/strategies that'll help me win will be really appreciated.

If you still have money, I'd suggest buying max/super stat pets

Grinding in the fest zone or using exp orbs is about the same, you dont gain expertise on your pets in this area anyway so dont wory about this. ^-^

Usualy, when someone is struggling like that it's eather an issue of equipement, element, proefiency or a mix of all this.

Dont use any equipement with a border grey/white, green or blue, the disciple stuff is an absolute last resort ment to be swapped later. Stick with equipement of your pet level for better outcome.

Both of the pet you are using right now have attack oriented elements, it's still usable mind you but that mean that they will be frail, you will nead a good healer/tank as soon as possible.

Your proefiencies are not all set so your pet still have level 40 ish stats at the moment and you nead better equipement, i highly advise you to go directly for the vinethorn sets at this point.

Other: I've followed the Newbie guide that's posted and have level 30 3-pet team, but they're probably terrible. Hah. Haven't attempted to do the first dungeon. Not sure if I can do anything festival related or if I've signed up too late to participate. I bought an egg from the scale shop -- was that a complete waste of time? If I find eggs in the wild, are they generally not what I want to keep around? o.o

You're not too late for the festival at all! Snow Wars doesn't require battle level and the zone should be fine for the most part if you have a level 30 team. Scale shop eggs....eh, it depends on what you want. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't depending on which egg you bought.
as for wild pet eggs, , if they're in the festival zone take them. If they're inthe wild.....honestly i click yes on everything just in case its a nice pet lol but unless its the lost grove those dont tend to be themed and are randomly generated
