"i want adromeda to practice with mizuki, rue practice with vitalus, and asmodeous practice with roman" Gabriel orders, stepping back and crossing his arms. we all find our respective partners and begin training, the sound of wood hitting wood filling the silence of the forest.

Asmodeus and Roman are a good match for one another. The two boys are both proficient fighters, although Roman is admittedly a little stronger.

mizuki lunges forward with his spear, and i quickly raise my own spear up in defense, knocking it out of his hands. "sorry" i wince, leaning down and picking it up for him, dodging under asmodeus's spear to grab it for him.

Rue fighting style is be fast, hit hard and in weak spots, and watch + anticipate their actions. In hand-to-hand or close combat she almost seems to be dancing, fast and fluid motions, or flying, lots of dodging and moves 'on-the-fly'.

Roman is strong but is also quick to read someone's fighting style and guess what they are going to do. But he will fight even better against something animal-like because his mind focuses better on them.

Vitalus fighting style is more unpredictable but fast and can hit hard. His hand-to-hand combat is the same but he mostly likes to make his opponent hit first and he will try and read to find their weak spot.

"ok, um lets try again" i say, returning to the position gabriel showed me. misuki lunges for me again and this time when i block him, his spear doesn't go flying. "better" gabriel grunts from behind me, he startles me, when did he get there?
