"A Winter Ball" Challenge

The winter ball is in full swing, and we have already got quite the crowd. Below you will find some of our esteemed guests. If you do not see your name below, it could be due to a number of reasons. One being you haven't submitted anything yet. Another could be that you failed to heed one or more requirements. That is ok though, your invitation is surely around somewhere...You just need to find it, and present it to the door man by submitting your corrections and or designs entirely. There is still plenty of time to do so. And if you have and still aren't permitted in...Well shame on the door man, but I am sure with the next update he will see the light. "A Winter's Ball" Challenge

A ball is a time of celebration and enjoyment between friends, family, and associates. With the D.C.U. it is no different, as we will be spending that time together as fellows designers whom have become friends along the way. Each of you have truly stepped up to the plate and really knocked it out of the park. I feel a great number of you have grown in talent and determination. I have seen some of you blossom and take more and more risks through experimentation. Which of course we have all had our fair share of fails, but have created something extraordinary. I just hope you all can see what I see to some extent, and continue to aim high. Continue to take leaps of faith and continue with the amazing work of designing things. And when in doubt, reach out to your fellow designers for input, guidance, and suggestions. Take the time to collaborate ideas, and never be afraid to try. Because you never know until you do. And with that in mind, let us join our esteemed guests that have come to our D.C.U. ball and congratulate those that have made this week's top 3....

@Noha....For your first challenge, you did remarkably well. You brought a number of designs to the table for all to see. You had a very nice merriment of muted shades with your more saturated bold choices. I think you have a great deal of potential, and I really do look forward to seeing more from you in the future....For your hard work, please send me a COD for 25k, pick a pet from the group choices and or sales tab of my stables for your own, keep and eye out for a random avi item. @Ammythesta....Even though there is color there, there is not at the same time to a degree. A muted absence of color that gives the illusion of the pet being there and yet not there is really intriguing. It is something that really drew my eye and can show that you can create a beautiful piece, and how sometimes less means more. That you don't have to have deep saturated colors to have an elegant design. For your hard work, please send me a COD for 10k, keep an eye out for a random avi item, and set up a diamond exchange for 10 diamonds. Please do let me know when this is completed. @Annoyed.....I personally got a chuckle out of your design. Not because of the design itself, but because of what you said. And that being there always needs to be entertainment, to which you are right. Without entertainment of some kind, it is just a room full of entities that stand around socializing...But that is a long rant of it's own. Your designs have a multitude of colors that did actually work complimentary with each other. Wither you intended for that happen or not, your risk and bizarre design was really neat to see. Not to mention fun, which I think during these times we all need a little more of...For not though and for your hard work, please keep an eye out for a random avi item and set up an diamond exchange for 5 diamonds.
