An arrow was shot, scarping the size of your wing and piercing the edge. It didn't effect your flying, but they were reloading another arrow. You could see a hybrid behind them, watching.

I wonder if it's the peacock.

"Now why would he make such a silly request like that?" i call out again, flying quickly behind the trees.

I facepalm. I can't believe i forgot about arrows.

"And when was this order? You seemed to be fine with me yesterday. And friendly with that peacock!"

I pause.

"This doesn't have anything to do with the hybrid murderer posted on the board does it?"

Another arrow thunked into the tree beside you. You heard more shouting that sounded like killing orders. They weren't going to answer your questions.

Since I'm obviously not getting anywhere with this, i fly away. Perhaps sometime in the future i can take care of this, but i am not skilled enough yet. Maybe even to take on 1 of them. I growl. Then a thought comes.

Who exactly was that hybrid?

Knowing i won't get any answer if I'm dead, i continue trying to escape.

I breath heavily. Definitely not what i had hoped for when i decided to start my adventure. Or when i first walked into that town. So much for learning a thing or two. The only thing i have learned so far is how to run.

At the moment even Tycia seems more friendly than this place.

I decide to keep walking at a slow pace. As soon as the rain dries up i promise myself i will try to make a bow. I hate being helpless in fights. Or any situations.

I decide to try to find the river again. It's the only landmark i know of after all other than towns.

Maybe after that I'll head to the mountains. Once i finish making my bow of course. There is much more good wood here. I will have to wait a bit more for the wood to finish drying out a little bit.

You didn't seem to be able to find the river again. You could see the mountains to the side of you past the trees, towering up. You seemed to be at the edge of the forest.

I decide to start looking for good bow making material. I can head to the mountains in a bit.
