It seemed confused for only a moment before deciding to ignore your strange movements and just focus on the main direction you were going in. You came across a hall connected to two other halls and in a dazed panic you ran (Right/Left/Straight? Are there any other options?)

As the door to the shop was closing you heard the shopkeepers son should, "Make sure not to lose that, it's important and irreplaceable!" just before the tiny click of the door closing. The book felt warm as you held it, almost like it was pulling you in. As the seconds passed the book became more and more like an addictive drug as it gave you this feeling of having to read it, it made you crave to read it, and there was nothing you desired more.

Its tail began viciously lashing out at you as it attempted to defend itself, it left a few small scratches behind but nothing too bad, as it furiously swung its tail at you.

She stared at the measuring tape dumbfounded, "Holy... sugar honey iced tea... You really have been working out. Next time I'll make sure to get your dress a size larger than what you actually need just in case you get even bulkier. Well I suppose we should put this dress to good use anyway. She grabbed her phone and opened up YouTube. As you glanced at her phone you saw her typing in 'Catwalk Music'. That said it all, she was going to force you to catwalk all the way downstairs to show her mom again. She gave you an innocent smile, "Have you been practicing your catwalk recently?"

He gave you a wicked smile then shook his head, "You shouldn't be, cause now, you owe me one." he walked away leaving you in the care of the woman from before.
"Hey! Blade! Wait!" the girl called out to him as he walked down a side hallway leading to other rooms, "Who is she?!" she tried again then gave up, "He's not gonna answer." she mumbled to herself.
The place looked like a rundown tavern. It clearly hadn't officially been used in a while. The woman turned to you, "... So... what exactly happened? Blade's never brought someone in her before... He likes to keep his private life away from this place." the last part of the sentence was closer to her talking to herself than you since her voice had gone quieter and she sounded almost annoyed about it.

They all agreed happily since it was a good way to avoid going home and an even better way to avoid doing homework.
"Sure!" Lilly shouted, "There's no place better to hang out than the forest." her enthusiastic voice was the only thing that showed she wasn't being sarcastic.
"Well, if Lilly's going so am I." Melissa replied, "Shell drag me there with her even if I say no." she turned to Lilly and half-heartedly punched her in the arm.
"I'm not gonna get left our of the fun." Chris replied, "...well as long as we don't play, 'Who can hit Chris with an acorn first?', again."

I keep my hold on the neck of the fish, hoping it won't hurt too bad later.

I glared at her. "You know I haven't. Slip up again though..." i warned with my own wicked smile. I walked down the stairs.

Being the stubborn and willful person she was, Kathrin was able to resist reading the book. Well, for a little while. She was able to buy the requested items, march back to her cottage, and hand them over to her mother. After that, that strange feeling came over her again, much stronger. At least she found a spot under a tree to read, before she gave in to the book.
