Aries tapped Tala on the shoulder to indicate to stop so Matty could catch up. Tala could still feel Cancers celestial magic, it was if she was holding her hand in a way.
Aries laughed slightly, "You bet!"

I sighed, but slowed down.

As Capricorn bent down, the boy whispered something in his ear and he frowned, face hardening.

I shift my weight from foot to foot nervously, raging internal war against my flight-or-fight instinct.

I relax enough to remain still, realizing I am probably not in any immediate danger.
"Counter animal. Right, yeah, ok" I say, not quite sure what that is but getting the general idea.

"I can see where that would cause problems, still pretty cool though, not that pain part obviously though" I mutter, more to myself than anything.

"They guide each other." Capricorn held the boy up, who was still gritting his teeth in agony but no longer making any sound, "that wing will never work again. Not until we get to Ebony, at least."
