A wave came disturbing the object in the clumps of seaweed, causing it to shime slightly.

From what the creature could tell, it was some sort of relic. There was no other way to know what it was without removing it from it's grassy prison.

'A relic?' I think, while going over to it, 'Interesting!' Cautiously, I poke it a few times, wondering what would happen.

It made a chiming sound again but didn't do anything else, the seaweed around it slid down a bit partialy reavelling some intricate design on the orb.

The artefact turn out to be a type of bell the size of a fist, the top was dome shape but the base was triangular. The intricate drawing of a creature looking like a strange bird was carved un the dome part, it's wings and tail joining togedther at the base. It was made of a mix of metal and cristal but you coudn't see any edges or discoloration that would indicate that the object was melt this way, it was as if both materials had been fused togedther to point of becoming one at their jonctions.

They look at it with interest and start back to talk between them, your sylesti seemed shock by whatever the other creature told him.

Aparently the bird represented on the bell had been human at some point in their life and it was a common ocurence for the humans living it those cave, that was refered too as the Beneth by the creature, to transfer their relative into nearly immortal vessel. The creature didn't seem to know mutch more about the process or requirement for it to happen.
