Newt shrugged. "Maybe. Maybe not. Our sister knows more about this stuff. But if we free our sister and reach the source....there's a chance. It would be nice not to have a dagger wound in my side..."

Nicote nibbled his pomogranates quietly. He was too busy thinking to really pay attention.

"You mean there's more of you?" Dorian teased again drawing Dexion close. It had been some time since he had seen the elf this depressed. It was almost as bad as the time he was trying to teach the elf how to be a normal citizen and not a slave. That moment he realized that he had missed out on so much in life had been heartbreaking.
"It's fine. I'll live." Dexion said wrapping his arms over his chest. "I just have to be careful not to go overboard or lose control again."

Newt nodded. "Like I said, our sister holds the key. She's expert in chaotic magic. Extremely chaotic magic. Once you get over the first shock you're good.'

"What do you mean, free your sister? Is she captive somewhere?" she asked fingering the gem.

Newt nodded. "Dragon."

Nicote facepalmed. "Hoping to keep that secret..."

"So you can rescue your sister by yourself. Yeah, that's been working so well." she said to Nicote. THen to Newt she asked. "Your sister is captive by a dragon?"

"That's what we think." Newt replied.
