"Um..." Alex looks around. "There's a few possible key hiding places around. But maybe it wants this one?" He holds out a hand and a moment later his hand was filled with a rusty old key. He hands the key to you.
"That's one out of a few possible ones." Alex says, and a moment later there were five more keys in front of you. Alex was concentrating on bringing all the nearby keys to you.

Jack beams at you. "Sylvia managed to do it! Nikkie's alive again!" He says, bouncing up and down in place, seeming to have as much energy as the lightning weasel next to him. Hulda scampers up his arm and roosts in the elf child's hair.
Nikkie was a little bit behind the elf, smiling shyly. He looked normal ish. He wasn't dead... He was moving around like he used to. Sure, it seemed he was less energetic than normal, but that was sort of expected with the whole 'die and come back alive' thing.

Jaz nodded glad that the guy was helpful in something other than just hiding.

She turned back to the wasp. "We have a few keys, could we try them out?" She asked. She really hoped that the wasp wouldn't take offense to the fact that they didn't know if the key was the right one.

Kua-Rashianaka

"Holy hexes..." She froze not saying anything more. She shook her head. "This can't be possible... this can't be true. I watched you die!" She started to tear up.

The wasp hums in thought before the gears start turning again. The wasp nods.
Alex decides that eleven is enough keys to try out, and he hands the rest of the keys to you, obviously planning on staying far far far away from the wasps.
There were big keys, small keys, medium keys, white keys, brown keys, blue keys, new keys, boring keys, and old keys.

The lock looked like it would take a small key.

Nikkie wraps his arms around you in a small hug. "I know... Dying is scary." He keeps his hands to himself again after the short hug.
" Sylvia can help bring people back alive! It's kind of cool. Unfortunately, she can't bring people back alive if they die from old age... But that's rare, so she gets to heal quite a lot of people. This is the... Third time she's brought someone from the dead. And she's, like, a millenia years old. " Jack continues to talk.

She nodded her thanks to both the wasp and Alex and walked cautiously up to the chest. She bent down and pulled out the small keys.

Jaz thought here goes nothing and she tried the small keys into the lock one by one.

The first two were too big. The third was too small. You needed more keys.
Alex notices this and hesitantly scoots towards you, keeping a wary gaze on the wasp. The wasp was returning it. Alex started conjuring more small keys.
The fifth one of these worked.
There was a small click and the chest was unlocked.

Kua-Rashianaka

She was tense. She looked into Nikkie's eyes. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I was too scared... I-I could've fried it or-or anything else. I let my emotions get the better of me..." Her voice trailed off and she started to cry a bit.

"Shhhhhh, it's fine." Nikkie says, wrapping you in a hug again, trying to get you to calm down. He wasn't really good at calming people down as he never really had to comfort anyone else in life. "It's fine. You can't be everywhere at once and you can't do everything. Shhhhh." He awkwardly pats your back as he tries to comfort you.
Jack falls silent as he noticed what was going on. The weasel chatters, batting Jack's forehead from its position on his head.
