he flips through some pages, mumbling stuff about us probably not encountering whatever is listed on the page, before finally stopping. "alright, last thing i'll be telling you today is the oso" he says, scanning the page "it's a large creature, built like a tank. you don't know what those are but they're big, take my word for it. they're descendants of "bears" and they will go through your stuff, break supplies, attack people, and they're pretty hard to scare. however, fire usually works on them" he says, reading from the page.

i grimace, shuddering. does everything in the forest want to kill us!?

Asmodeus swallows hard. "Apparently it's a pretty..... hostile place out there then."

Yeah i say looking at gabriel wt fear a few days ago i didnt even go outside how am i supposed to deal wt this ....

"it's not the most friendly of places. you'll do well, though. so long as you learn well" he shrugs. "well, lets hope we all do good in class" i say, glancing at my spear apprehensively

gabriel slams the book closed, making everyone jump. "one last thing you should know" he says, looking all of us in the eye "you should never, under any circumstances, head north."

"whats wrong with going north?" i ask, made uneasy by his warning. "just trust me." he shakes his head "never go north"

with a shallow breath i take in his warneing fearful for might be lurking up north .....

"Advice taken," Asmodeus says, nodding. He's not quite sure what's up north..... but according to Gabriel, nothing good.

"alright, we wont go north, any other directions we shouldn't go?" i ask, he shakes his head. he pauses, thinking for a few moments. sighing he takes the book from under his arm and extending it towards me. "i don't have time to teach you everything. i'm going to give you this. do not damage it, or lose it. you will regret it." i glance at it for a second, before taking it. "are you sure?" i ask "this seems very important to you"

gabriel looks like he's going to take it back for a second, but ultimately hands it over. "put this in my church when you're done with it." he orders, before softening "it was my mothers before she died, take good care of it"

Vitalus nods his head and carefully holds it.

"mind if i take a look?" i ask the priest, holding my hand out. when he hands it to me, i flip through the pages, looking through the book until i find what i'm looking for; a drawing. it's of the "grazer". it's limbs are long, really long and muscular. the hooves are sharp and pointed, they look like they could cut someone if aimed right. it's face is a bit broader and they eyes are bigger, resembling the face of a horse. the antlers are long and thick, curling backwards over their head, sort of like a built in bridal.

"did you draw these?" i ask, pointing to the drawings. "only some of them, some of them were by my mom before she died" he says, awkwardly. "i drew the grazers, but mom drew and named the oso"
