loses track of time as she runs. What could've been seconds could've also been hours. At last, she reaches a room....but then everything goes black.

Pure wakes up, and sees nothing but the color blue. She can hear two voices talking,

"What do we do with her?" The first voice demands.
"I don't know! We haven't had a breach in years. The blue is supposed to repel visitors!" The second voice replies. "She seems different from any others I've seen before...."
"What if she's... an Iota?"
"Don't talk crazy! None of them would stumble across the Mines."
"But what if one did?"

approaches the cave. As she comes nearer, the growling gets louder. However, from the entrance it is not visible what the noise is.

Pure listened to them talk then tried standing up,"Where...Where am I? Who are you both..?"

Aquilo is very curious and wants to explore the cave so she decides to approach the cave and growl back at whatever inside

Vixen jumps down the whole spreading out her wings to buffer her fall

tries to get up, but can't. She crashes back onto whatever she's on, which feels like stone.
When they hear the crash, the two voices hurry over to her.

"Oh, look what you did with all your hopeless pondering! You woke her up!" The first voice scolds.

"She clearly woke up on her own!" The second voice protests. "And it's not hopeless! I don't want to mine all my life!"

growls, but it does nothing. It soon becomes apparent, even though Aquilo still cannot see what's making the noise, that it's not a growl, but a snore.

Aquilo quitley walks towards the sleeping creature

jumps down and floats for a while. Her paws touch the ground, but everything is still pitch black.

"Where am I? What were you two talking about Iotas not coming to the... Mines?" Pure looks at the two nixis, confused. The pain of falling did not phase her as much as the nixis. "Why would you have to mine your whole life?"
