The sylestia hid its face as the jeers from the others chased it away. the punding ache in their head reminded them that soon their time would be up.

The Sylesti turned and jumped, its heart beating rapidly. The shadows around it flickered, but it was all alone in the dark alleyway. It eventually calmed its breathing and continued on its hunt for food, the shadows now gone.

The sylesti growled at the group of other sylesti in front of it. 3 against 1. She was strong, brave, and wouldn't let these defeat her in battle. She had a grim smug look on her face as one came pouncing at her, she dodged and clawed it, scaring it's eye.

The sylest almost seemed like a goddess. surrounded by leafy greens, caring for the flowers.

The smoke billowed around as the sylestia that seemed to be made of pure ice stalked out of it, into the water growling as they padded softly on to the frozen water, pale coat a monotone* of blues.
*Monotone - different shades of 1 color

The small creature danced threw the forest, jumping in piles of leaves. A small petal landed on his nose and he gave a sneeze, only to continue his romp of happiness.

The once beautiful sylesti was in tatters, with the wind tearing at his torn ear and blood dripping from his many wounds. His black scales were no longer shining and his once bright orange eyes were dull. There was a sadness on his face that conveyed deep pity in one's soul. He looked out at the rain that spattered the rocky ground. Would there be a tomorrow?
