Pebble wanted to add his input, but based on what he's heard, his lack of understanding of the surface world most likely wouldn't help him in this situation, so he talked to his brother about what he'd learned of other tribes so far.

Elk didn't wait for a response and recoiled a bit,
her horns and tail spikes clattered with the sudden movement creating a sharp crackling sound.

Pebble winced at the sound, looking straight up and bracing himself for something before realizing it was just Elk. "Uh, sorry, after the huge quake, and just in general, crackling sounds usually mean something is about to fall" he explained.

"Well, uh, maybe, we can help you become the new queen of the rainwings? Or find someone better?" Pebble suggested gingerly, shuffling slightly.

"So, wanna come check out the place? You can meet my sisters and niece, she's so cute, even though I can't see her, I bet she is" Bat said with a slight laugh. "I'll guide you around, my nose is good enough that we won't actually bump into anyone that can be seriously injured" Bat promised, offering her one of his six talons
