I jump down soundlessly from the vent, landing lightly on my feet and look around, darting into the nearest shadow. A lot of food, hmm, something must be going on. I locate the nearest door and exit the kitchen, trying to find where the king is, staying and melting into the shadows wherever I went, avoiding anyone else in the castle.

the next is a dinning hall of sorts, but before you enter you can her growling and faint steps

As you open the door you almost run into a young boy with an apron

"Oh! sorry, didn't know anyone else was in here " he said lightheartedly

He nodded and gestured that he was letting you out first " I have some beef if that's okay, we found a feral bull the other day" he said with a smile
"That sounds delicious," she said, smiling back and heading out.

I regard him expressionlessly, noting that part of his face seemed to be burned or whatever.
"Well hello," I bow lightly. "I am afraid I was lost in these parts, as this is a huge castle. I am new to this place, too. Can you tell me the way to the king?"
